-A song of your own in the style of the show - preferably something belty, sultry and rich from the period. (In this Christmas show she sings “Santa Baby”)
-The FULL sides in the packet for Dyanne. We may not have an in-person callback for this - the team may make decisions based on your tapes, so be sure to tape the FULL material.
-If you play Ukulele or Piano, we’d love a clip of your playing for reference!

-An Elvis song of your choice. Please accompany yourself on guitar for the song cut.

-If you have a guitar reel or additional clips of your playing, we’d love for you to include them.
NOTE: We are not looking for an over-the-top impersonation, but a version of Elvis that feels grounded and real. We want to believe you are the King. (No pressure)

For Sam, please tape the following:

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET CHRISTMAS – GATEWAY PLAYHOUSE

Contract:
AEA: $640/week minimum (Ref. to COST) *Principal tracks starting at $800/wk and up
Non-Union: $550/week

Housing is provided on property in Bellport, NY.  Transportation provided at top of rehearsal and at the end of the run-- all rehearsals and performances take place at the Gateway Playhouse on Long Island in Bellport, NY.

Storyline: Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley come together again to celebrate the holidays! Sun Records, now festively decorated with a Christmas tree, garland, and mistletoe, rings with sounds of the season and the chart toppers that made the “Million Dollar Quartet” famous. The gang is up to their usual antics as we journey through stories of Christmas past, present, and future. It’s a jam-packed evening of holiday hits that your audiences will celebrate year after year!

SEEKING:

DYANNE: (Mid-20s) Sophisticated sensibility but with a great rock belt. Sexy and smart, she was an aspiring singer and Elvis’s girlfriend. Mezzo Belt with wide range. Ukelele and/or Piano a plus

ELVIS PRESLEY: (21) The first, and still, undisputed king of rock ’n’ roll. Must play guitar.

SAM PHILLIPS: (32 to 35 years old) Excellent actor; “Father of Rock’n’Roll” and founder of Sun Records who discovered Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and many others including Roy Orbison and B.B. King; a towering and charismatic figure in American music.

MUSICIAN COVERS: (20s to 40s) Singers who play guitar and/or piano. Able to cover a combination of at least 2 of the principals - Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Sam Phillips.
