Compensation Package:

Payrate: $600/wk for rehearsals and performances. (4 shows/wk – with bump if 5th/6th show is added)

Producer provided transportation & housing with gym access – shared car while on contract

FRANKIE HEALY: Female, 18+ to play 16. The Healys’ adopted Black daughter. A brilliant, politically active teenager with a sharp sense of justice and a restless spirit. She’s passionate, artistic, and unafraid to challenge authority, but often feels alienated within her privileged suburban environment. A truth-seeker with a poet’s heart, she embodies both rebellion and vulnerability. Strong pop/rock singer F#3-F#5. NON-UNION ONLY

JO: AFAB, 18+ to play 16. Frankie’s best friend and sometime romantic partner, with a quick wit, fierce honesty, and a raw emotional core. They are confident and outspoken but feel unseen in their relationship and misunderstood by their conservative family. The performer should have a strong sense of individuality and authenticity. Strong pop/rock belter E3-G5. NON-UNION ONLY

PHOENIX: Male, 18+ to play 16. A transfer student at Frankie’s high school. He is a grounded, thoughtful young man with a kind soul and a complicated past. A gifted musician and poet, he offers Frankie a sense of calm and sincerity that contrasts with her chaos. Strong pop/rock belter E4-Bb5. NON-UNION ONLY

BELLA: Female, 18. Frankie’s classmate and friend who endures a devastating sexual assault at a party. Once carefree and sociable, Bella becomes the voice of truth and courage as she confronts disbelief and judgment from her peers and community. Strong Pop/rock singer F#3-A5. NON-UNION ONLY

ENSEMBLE: All Gender Identities, 18+ to play 16. A dynamic and diverse ensemble of singers and dancers who embody classmates, neighbors, etc. These actors will understudy principal roles, including Jo and Phoenix. Strong pop/rock belters who move well. NON-UNION ONLY
