MIRACLE ON 34th STREET CALLBACK MATERIAL

We're looking forward to seeing you at the MIRACLE ON 34th STREET callbacks in NYC!
Please prepare the FULL material packet linked below for your requested role(s) and carefully follow the preparation instructions outlined in your appointment email.

NOTE: If your requested role has music to learn in the packet, we’ve included MP3s for you. If you do NOT have music to learn in your packet, please prepare a 16-32 bar cut in the style of the show. Everyone should have their full book of music on hand, in case the team needs to hear additional material.

Set in New York City in 1947, MIRACLE ON 34th STREET reflects the style and spirit of that time. We highly recommend watching the original 1947 film to help you connect with the period’s tone and sensibility.

A timeless holiday favorite from the creator of The Music ManMiracle on 34th Street is a charming musical based on the beloved film. It follows Doris Walker, a practical single mother determined to keep her six-year-old daughter Susan grounded in reality, but when their neighbor Fred Gailey tries to win Doris’s heart by taking Susan to meet Santa at Macy’s—where Doris works—everything begins to change. Susan is enchanted, Doris remains skeptical, and then the impossible happens: Santa might just be the real Kris Kringle. As belief spreads, hearts across New York begin to open. Featuring delightful humor, the magic of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and classic songs like “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” this uplifting musical is the perfect way to start the holiday season with the whole family.
